Held at Hardwick Hall on 29th September, the finals celebrated the excellence of businesses across the North East following the three regional heats.
Throughout the evening, we gathered to commemorate the hardworking, talented businesses across the North East. Whilst waiting with bated breath for the final category, the coveted Company of the Year award.
Sponsored by Newcastle University, the award recognises outstanding performance by highly successful North East businesses throughout the year. Though we had formidable competition from fellow finalists Newcastle Building Society and eQuality Solutions, we were overcome with emotion when we were announced as the winner.
Words cannot comprehend how proud I am of the team. Our hard work and determination have paid off. This year has been monumental for the business, with many more exciting opportunities and announcements to come
Johnathan Bulmer, Managing Director and Company Founder
Our newly appointed Chief Operating Officer, Andrew Thompson, accepted the award on behalf of Cleveland Containers.
I'm so proud to accept this award on behalf of such an amazing team. And on behalf of Johnathan and Jane Bulmer, the founders and co-owners of Cleveland Containers. With a clear vision, unmatched tenacity and their blood, sweat and tears, they have transformed a family business into the nation's largest container sales and hire company.
